What is the background of Zoom Health?
We began as a healthcare company focused on solving problems through innovative software, but early on, it became clear that securing funding for medication adherence initiatives in New Zealand was a significant challenge. As a result, we pivoted and created ZOOM Pharmacy, which has since become New Zealand’s largest direct-to consumer prescription pharmacy. Our virtual pharmacy experience over the last 7-years has allowed us to develop virtual expertise which places ZOOM Health in a unique position. How does MedSimply help with medicines management and adherence?
Our software is designed to identify chronic medications on patient prescriptions, triggering our automated patient reminder service. This service follows up with patients based on their medication supply, adjusting its approach according to whether the patient receives monthly or three-monthly dispensing. This follow-up has been proven to significantly improve patient engagement.
Additionally, our service enables your pharmacy to offer cost-effective shipping, providing an option for patients who may struggle to visit the pharmacy in person. By delivering medications directly to them, you ensure continued care while enhancing patient adherence, an approach that has been proven to improve long-term health outcomes.

What pricing plans does MedSimply offer?
The MedSimply pricing plan is simple at $250 per month and 10c per adhoc txt message.
Please note you earn $1 margin for every $6.50 shipment your pharmacy sends.

Are there any setup or onboarding fees?

How is patient data protected?
Our platform employs robust security measures to protect all personal and prescription information. Specifically:
We use AES-256 encryption for data at rest within AWS DynamoDB and SSL/TLS protocols for data in transit.
Strict role-based access ensures that only authorised personnel have access to sensitive information.
Comprehensive audit logs record all access and modifications, enabling continuous monitoring and prompt detection of any unauthorised activity.
Who owns the data entered into the system?
All data entered into our system remains your property. Our responsibility is solely to process, store, and safeguard your data in accordance with legal and regulatory standards, ensuring that you maintain full ownership and control.
What happens to my data if I cancel the subscription?
In the event that you cancel your subscription, our process is designed to provide a seamless transition cancellation experience. The key steps are as follows:
Upon cancellation, your account enters a grace period of 30 days, during which your data remains fully intact. During this time, you may reactivate your subscription without any data loss. We will send periodic notifications to remind you of the option to reactivate.
If you do not reactivate within the grace period, your account will be moved to an archived state. In this state, your data continues to be stored securely for 15 days.
After the archival period, all data associated with your account will be permanently deleted in accordance with our data retention policies and applicable legal obligations.

Do you offer onboarding and training for new MedSimply users?
